Martha Herwehe: Our roads need help

Each morning I venture out onto Hwy. 9 to again endure the canyon-like potholes that pepper the northbound side of the road, especially between Tiger Run and the Agape Church. Knowing where they are located, I weave through the “course” hoping there aren’t any new ones. The risk of an accident from loss of control from a blowout, getting a tire caught, or sliding while avoiding hitting one is frightening! Having one blowout due to hitting a hole was enough for me.

Sooo, what do ya say CDOT – how about helping us out? I do realize it is most likely too cold to do a proper paved patch, but pea gravel, sand, road base, cones … anything has got to be better than absolutely nothing. (Don’t our taxes cover this?)
