Mary Frances Bevans/Ahlquist: Thanks for a great fundraiser

Mary Frances Bevans/Ahlquist
Frisco

To my family, friends and neighbors: It warms my heart to see the outpouring of love and generosity of the people in this county! We had a fund raiser for my brother Jon who has stage four cancer and the response was amazing! I can’t begin to express my gratitude to all those who participated and supported this event. We surpassed our goal – and all this in a blizzard! I wanted to thank everyone that helped us out so much.

From the great food donated by Matt and Lisa Fackler of Relish, Kevin and Linda Brown of Peak Nine Restaurant and Bobby and

Stephanie Kato of Tuscatos. The food was fabulous and quite delicious! The endless hard work in the kitchen fueled by TJ Messerschmitt, Matt Fackler, Jill Sheppard and Richard Ahlquist. The beautiful ladies at the door Jolina Karen of Awakenings, Margaret William of Stewart Title, Lisa Fackler of Sulquist Mortgage/ Relish and Kiersten Stais of Hawks Management. We would have been lost without the auction queens! Bonnie Arnold of Century 21, BJ McCarthy of Remax, Laura Steben of Laura Steben, CPA, Jody Brock of Local Liquors/Peak Provisions. These ladies were amazing and without their organizational skills there is no way that this could have been pulled off so well! My computers experts were the greatest headed up by Mrs. Teresa Kliegerman and the fix-it guy Dave Sokol! Dave’s wife Greta was a one woman bussing crew! I have never seen anybody work so hard … OK TJ in the kitchen. My favorite auction item getter Mr. Christopher “Miller” kicked some rear end in gathering items for the auction. DJ Dave Nicholas was fabulous and provided great entertainment! And my business partner and best friend Mr. Douglas Sullivan, MC extraordinaire.

Mr. Roger Kliegerman who donated drinks to keep us all hydrated as well as Chris and Tim Hannan who donated beer to keep us happy! Special thanks to Bobby, Gayle, Elmer and the wonderful Leslie Ashley of the Elks as well as the Elks Club itself for providing just a great venue for our event. I want to thank everyone for their donations and I am sorry if I did not thank you personally. I am very blessed to live in such a great community. Thank you all with all of my heart: You make it me proud to live here and I am very fortunate to have so many great friends! And finally I wanted to thank my family: My Mom, Kathy, Mark, Travis, Liz, Terry, Delia, Seve, Patsy, Bob, Jeff, Jonathan, Jon, Jody, Marie, Katie, my wonderful husband Rich and the greatest kid on earth, Ricky! You make me proud to live here …
