MasterDrive 2008

MasterDrive is a two-day behind the wheel driving skills and accident avoidance clinic for young people. Skills taught include skid recover without over correction, taught on a skid pad and the dynamic limitations of their car so they can instinctively handle crisis situations.

The clinic is taught on a closed course at Summit High School and students do not need a learner’s permit to take the course and must be 14 years old. All classes are two days, from 7:45 a.m. to 5 p.m., at the Summit High School parking lot. The classes will be held Aug. 21-22, and Sept. 20-21. For more information, call the Summit Prevention Alliance at (970) 668-2077.
