McCain will hold town hall meeting today in Denver

DENVER ” John McCain is scheduled to campaign in Colorado on Monday.

The Republican presidential candidate will hold a town hall meeting at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts.

The event is open to the public and doors will open at 10 a.m. The meeting will start at noon.

McCain opponents, including the head of the state Democratic Party, plan events outside the center to criticize his economic policies.

Colorado is considered a possible swing state in this year’s presidential election and has been previously visited by both McCain and Democratic candidate Barack Obama.
