DENVER – Republican Scott McInnis is launching his statewide campaign for governor.

The former congressman will start a 28-stop tour on Monday focusing on jobs and the economy.

McInnis says that Democratic Gov. Bill Ritter has increased spending while at the same time raising fees and taxes. McInnis says he believes Ritter is vulnerable because voters are frustrated.

Other announced candidates for the Republican primary next year include Evergreen businessman Dan Maes and state Senate Minority Leader Josh Penry.
