DENVER ” Media members from across the country are getting their first look today at arrangements for the Democratic National Convention at the Pepsi Center in Denver.

The Democratic National Convention Committee received the keys to the Pepsi Center on Monday, and construction is already under way to transform the facility according to the wishes of Barack Obama’s campaign.

A media walkthrough scheduled Tuesday morning and afternoon will include some of the print, broadcast and online journalists who plan to cover the convention, scheduled to begin Aug. 25.

The final day of the convention, including Obama’s presidential nomination acceptance speech, will take place Aug. 28 at Invesco Field at Mile High, home of the NFL’s Denver Broncos.
