A Frisco woman died suddenly Saturday morning in what might have been a medical and/or alcohol-related incident, according to a statement from the Summit County Coroner.

Sadora Managhan-Wells, 40, was found at a Frisco residence by her boyfriend.

While she had some underlying medial issues and alcohol may have been a factor in her death, Coroner Joanne Richardson ordered an autopsy and said she won’t be able to determine whether the death was natural or accidental until the results are in. Toxicology results can take as long as three weeks, she said.

Meanwhile, Managhan-Wells’ family and friends are trying to make sense of the tragedy.

“This comes as a shock to us all,” said Mary Waldman, who owns the Frisco Hotel and Summit Mountain Rentals where Managhan-Wells was the housekeeping manager. “She’ll be sorely missed.”

Managhan-Wells reportedly moved to Summit County from Salem, Ore., three years ago looking for a mountain lifestyle. Soon after arriving, she was hired as an inspector at Summit Mountain Rentals and over a year ago was promoted to housekeeping manager.

“She was a fantastic, very high-spirited woman,” Waldman said. “A real fireball with lots of energy. She’s grown with us in the last three years.”

Managhan-Wells was recognized by her employers at a staff meeting last week, when she seemed to be in “really good spirits,” Waldman said.

No details regarding a service have been released.
