Brodie Boilard, the executive assistant to Frisco’s town manager and the public information officer for town government, began her position July 16 and has big goals for keeping the community in the loop.

Her position is a versatile one, but Boilard offers a direct line of communication from Frisco residents to town happenings. She is the go-to person for general inquiries of information on Frisco news and projects.

“I love the variety of work that my position entails,” Boilard said. “I work very closely with the town manager, council, marketing and community development departments. I really like being involved in a lot of the different aspects of what’s happening in the town.”

Boilard previously worked for the town of Frisco as the events manager from 2006-2007. Before returning to her post at town hall, she worked as a retail sales representative for Hershey’s Chocolate, where she spent much of her time traveling.

“I’m very happy to be in a position where I’m anchored here in Frisco,” Boilard said. “It will be nice not to have to travel this winter – I was driving almost 700 miles weekly for my sales job. I’m excited to spend time with my family and on the mountains.”

Aside from being Frisco’s information officer, Boilard lives in Frisco with her husband, Marc, and her 17-month-old son, Camden.

“I’m really looking forward to the winter and getting Camden up on the hill,” she said. “He’ll be two in April so we’re thinking we might try to take him cross-country skiing we have skis and harness for his age that straps on.”
