Meet the Dillon police chief for coffee on Mondays

Daily News staff report

Dillon’s new police chief, Steve Neumeyer, is inviting the public to join him for coffee Mondays this summer.

Neumeyer, who started June 4 but is in the process of relocating from Parker, said he wants to meet all the community members of Dillon, and “let them see their new police chief.”

The meetings will be open to whatever topic residents want to talk about, he said: Dillon, tourism, their vision for the future or even Neumeyer himself.

“I’m looking forward to meeting the people of the Dillon community and getting to know about their concerns and comments about Dillon,” he said.

The “Meet the Chief” series is scheduled on the following Mondays at 7 a.m.:

July 2 – Einstein Bros. Bagels

July 9 – Starbucks in City Market

For more information, contact Neumeyer at (970) 262-3402.
