Memorial service for Roger Taylor slated for Monday

Memorial services for Roger Taylor will be held on at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, July 12, at Lord of the Mountains Lutheran Church in Dillon. A lunch reception will follow. Roger passed away in his sleep on June 19. Roger is survived by his wife Gail, daughters Amelia and Suzy (Nate Burger) and brothers Gordon (Hitsie) and Pete. He was a founding member of the Timberline Toppers Square Dance Club, an active member of Copper Mountain Over-the-Hill Gang, a volunteer firefighter with the Dillon Valley Fire Department, a tenor in the Denver MountainAires, a Frontier Days volunteer and member of the Heels honorary group, and worked for Xcel Energy and Keystone Resort for many years. He was a loving father and husband and will be sorely missed by his family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be offered to Denver MountainAires or Cheyenne Frontier Days Volunteer Fund.
