Memorial services set for Bourke of Keystone

Memorial services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Feb. 19 at Lord of the Mountains Lutheran Church on Evergreen Road in Dillon for Patricia Anne Baldwin Bourke, who died at her home in Keystone Feb. 11. She was 59.Bourke was born June 15, 1945, in Mount Kisco, N.Y., and was raised in nearby Pleasantville. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree from the University of Wyoming in Laramie, where she also met and married her husband, Tim.

They were married on June 3, 1967, in Laramie. Bourke later went on to work as a high school social studies teacher.The couple later lived in Rochester, N.Y., and Evergreen, Colo., before moving in 1978 to Saranac Lake, N.Y., where they raised their two daughters, Bonnie and Aimee.

In 2003, the couple moved to Keystone, saying it reminded them of their home of 26 years in Saranac Lake in the Adirondack Mountains of New York. There they also enjoyed the mountain life and skiing at Whiteface Mountain.Bourke is survived by her husband, Timothy, of Keystone; daughter Bonnie Staves of Prince Frederick, Md.; daughter Aimee Foster of Scarsdale, N.Y.; sister Lillian Quick of Littleton, Colo., and brother Jack Baldwin of Whitefish Bay, Wisc.



In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Head-Pain Treatment Unit at Chelsea Community Hospital, 775 S. Main Street, Chelsea, MI 48118 in the name of Patricia Bourke.
