Mental health and eating disorder services expand for Medicaid patients in Colorado
Colorado Access and Rocky Mountain Health Plans now reportedly cover mood and anxiety treatment for adults, adolescents and children at the partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, and virtual intensive outpatient levels of care
The Eating Recovery Center and Pathlight Mood and Anxiety Center recently expanded to accept Medicaid coverage for adults, adolescents and children in Colorado, according to a news release.
The expansion provides patients in Colorado with mental health diagnoses including eating disorders with additional options as the Eating Recovery Center and Pathlight Mood and Anxiety Center will now accept two state Medicaid plans, the release states.
Colorado Access and Rocky Mountain Health Plans now reportedly cover mood and anxiety treatment for adults, adolescents and children at the partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, and virtual intensive outpatient levels of care.
The plans also cover eating disorder treatment for adults at the partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient and virtual intensive outpatient levels of care, according to the news release.
Colorado Access Member regions include Denver and Adams, Arapahoe, Douglas and Elbert counties. Rocky Mountain Health Plan Member counties include Archuleta, Delta, Dolores, Eagle, Garfield, Grand, Gunnison, Hinsdale, Jackson, La Plata, Larimer, Mesa, Moffat, Montezuma, Montrose, Ouray, Pitkin, Rio Blanco, Routt, San Juan, San Miguel and Summit.
