Missing snowshoer rescued and safe

GEORGETOWN – A snowshoer who got lost in a snowstorm was found safe and in good condition Monday, two days after he was last seen.Steven Brodsky, 49, of Centennial was located by a helicopter search crew at about 2:30 p.m. Monday, Clear Creek County sheriff’s dispatcher Marty Writer said.Writer said searchers had found his car Sunday afternoon at the summit of Guanella Pass, a popular starting point for the hike up 14,060-foot Mount Bierstadt about 45 west of Denver.Brodsky had reached the summit of the mountain and signed the peak register on Saturday.He was found about two miles from Guanella Pass.
