Mort Kraus: Change is often good

One-half to three-quarters of the way through the column, I was enjoying his writing, as I often do, and was waiting for a blockbuster finish. I got nothing. First of all, Chipotle’s food is far superior to the Old Dillon Inn’s food. It is pretty much an axiom with restaurants in Summit County that if you do not provide good food and service you will not last. ODI almost proved that wrong, but the real point is that sometimes change is good and, in the case of Lowe’s, some of the changes it brings will be good. I love Summit County and will love it after the Lowe’s is built. I truly doubt that it will ever be a “chain store kinda county.”
