TELLURIDE – Another weekend another winter storm warning for the mountains. This time several inches may reach the Front Range. While it is great news for ski areas and water users, it is making life difficult for mountain residents and wildlife. And it has claimed the lives of a total of seven backcountry snowmobilers, skiers, snowboarders and hikers. Three snowriders have died at ski areas.Widlife officials say they may begin feeding wildlife in the northwest. The statewide snowpack is 128 percent of the 30-year average.Things may not be looking up, either, for those tired of the white stuff, despite longrange forecasts of a dry spring.Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow Saturday, which traditionally means six more weeks of winter.
