Municipal water up for discussion

The Blue River Watershed Group (BRWG) will meet at 6:30 p.m. Jan. 20 at the Summit County Community and Senior Center near Frisco to hear a panel discuss municipal water.BRWG is composed of citizens working to protect, restore and promote a sustainable Blue River watershed.Panel members will include Dave Koop of the Frisco Water Department, Zach Margolis of the Silverthorne/Dillon Joint Sewer Authority and state water commissioner Scott Hummer who oversees the Blue River Basin.Their topic will be municipal water: where it comes from, how it gets to the tap, where it goes after it goes down the drain, treatment and well water.
