ALMA- Celebrate summer in the mountains with a true old-fashioned small town festival. The sixth annual Alma Festival in the Clouds, Saturday and Sunday, features almost 50 regional artists with handmade work including pottery, watercolors, oil painting, original sterling-silver jewelry, bronze sculpture, lamp-work and Fimo beads, Native American crafts, hand-dyed clothing, hand-blown glass and much more.Dozens of musicians from Colorado and beyond entertain crowds with jazz, folk, rock and blues for nonstop dancing (see the A&E calendar for specific band times). A food court offers fajitas, Philly cheese steaks, smothered Italian sausages, meatball and panini sandwiches, funnel cakes, curly fries, strawberry shortcake and ice cream.Proceeds benefit the Alma community in projects such as historical preservation, open space and trails, parks and arts and culture.Festival hours are from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.
