Final night of live music at Jonny-G’s

The “Final Countdown” begins on Friday, April 25, as the Jonny-G’s era comes to an end. “We are stoked to have a bunch of great local musicians playing for the final live music performance ever on our stage. Johnny Truscelli and Beau Thomas, along with their respective bands, are going to make awesome live music and close it out in style,” said Jonny Greco, owner of Jonny-G’s. “Live music was how Jonny-G’s got started; we had a live band every Friday night for the first four or five years. It’s always been a big part of our nightlife.

“It’s about locals, local musicians, locals getting together. We love our visitors, but to showcase that and have that feeling — that’s how we’re ending it. We’re inviting people to come and just celebrate memories and create a couple of new memories before we close. We’re going to have some sit-ins with other musicians and make it a fun, carefree evening of live music.”

There’s no cover. For more information about this and other events for the final week of Jonny-G’s, visit the bar’s “Final Countdown” Facebook event page or check out the full story in the Saturday, April 26, edition of the Summit Daily.
