SUMMIT COUNTY – Raleigh Kinney, nationally known watercolor artist and teacher, will lead a three-day watercolor workshop at three Summit County sites, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday, July 29, through Thursday July 31.

A kickoff potluck will be Monday, July 28. The workshop is hosted by Women of Watercolor (WOW) and is open to nonmembers for $150.

Throughout the past 30 years, Raleigh Kinney’s watercolors have evolved into a natural distinctive style with a larger than life look. The Plein Air Painters of America selected his painting “When Evening Shadows Fall” for its show in November 2000. He has created several educational videos about transparent watercolor that art programs nationwide use. He is founding member of the Midwest Watercolor Society.

To register, call Pat Tormey at (970) 262-2055 or send a check (and your phone number) to: Women of Watercolor, P.O. Box 1629, Silverthorne, CO 80498.
