New Frisco finance director named

FRISCO – In about three weeks the Town of Frisco will have a new finance director arriving from the City of Alamosa.Bonnie Moinet, a Certified Public Finance Officer who served as the finance director in Alamosa since 1988, recently accepted the position.”It’s sort of like my dream job,” said Moinet who has been on many ski trips to Copper Mountain. “It certainly feels like a good fit.”She will be bringing 19 years and a broad range of small town experience with her to the job. And while she will be leaving great friends behind, she said she connected with the staff in Frisco and is excited to meet new people. Also, the move will put her closer to her son, daughter-in-law and grandson who live in Denver.”Hopefully I will meet the needs and help guide the town,” said Moinet who will start April 2.The position opened in December when Theresa Casey, the administrative and community services director, resigned. After that, the town restructured the position with some of the same duties but the new title of finance director.Moinet will oversee finance, human resources and the Frisco Marina.
