New preschool opens at Christ Lutheran

DAILY NEWS STAFF REPORT

Christ Lutheran Church at Farmer’s Korner is planning to open a new child care facility in August that includes a preschool, extended care for that age group as well as some spaces for infant and toddlers.

“This has been a dream since I first came to Summit County,” said Pastor Christian Rasmussen. “As the need for quality, affordable care continued to grow, our commitment to this project deepened.”

Plans currently call for the new center to open in late August, corresponding with the new school year. The program will operate year round Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m until 6 p.m.

Registrations are now being accept for both the preschool and the infant/toddler spaces. For registration and fees, check the church’s website at http://www.christlutheranco.org or call the church office at (970) 453-8019.
