New scholarship announced for Colorado community college transfer students

A new scholarship from Colorado State University (CSU) in Fort Collins has been created for transfer students. A limited number of Colorado Two-Year College Merit Scholarships are available for students transferring from Colorado community or junior colleges to Colorado State. Each $1,000 scholarship is renewable for a second year at CSU if requirements are met, making the total award $2,000.To be considered for the award, transfer students must be transferring from a Colorado community or junior college at the time of application, have a 3.5 or greater GPA, be admitted to CSU by June 1 for the fall semester and be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.For more information, contact scholarship coordinator Heather Esterday at heather.esterday@colostate.edu or visit the student financial services website at http://www.sfs.colostate.edu.
