New staff join McCrerey & Roberts Construction

FRISCO – Fairplay resident Jim Patalan has joined McCrerey & Roberts Construction Company, a 30-year-old Frisco-based business that develops high-end residential and commercial real estate here and in Boulder County.Patalan will serve as the firm’s administrative manager.Formerly the town of Fairplay’s treasurer and clerk, Patalan said he is looking forward to becoming reacquainted with familiar faces in Summit County. He also formerly worked as director of operations for the Vail Valley Medical Center’s local operation.Patalan lives in Park County with his son, Jimmy. He holds a degree in business administration from the University of Michigan and brings more than 15 years of management experience to the company.Patalan replaces Linda Roberts, who joined the company in 1976 and left to travel.Dillon resident Cliff Avery also joined the staff as manager of local construction operations for custom homes.Avery first moved to the area in 1976 and worked as a ski instructor. He studied business at Fort Lewis College in Durango and returned to Summit County in 1997. Avery formerly worked for Intrawest Placemaking at River Run in Keystone.
