New wooden characters make appearance at Keystone Resort
KEYSTONE RESORT — Anyone who went skiing this past weekend at Keystone Resort might have noticed the new additions to Schoolmarm beginner run. At the rest area, three wooden structures have been placed for skiers’ and snowboarders’ viewing pleasure.
“They’re just a fun addition to the mountain to add to the whole kid-friendly vibe,” Keystone spokeswoman Loryn Roberson said.
Known as a family-friendly resort, Keystone placed these characters on the family-designated Schoolmarm run. Two of the characters represent prospectors, paying tribute to the area’s mining history, while the other structure represents a mine itself.
