Next election, remember the challenge

Once again the Frisco Town Council has bungled badly.

First it was the effort to plant a golf course on our peninsula, defying (unsuccessfully) the verdict of the voters in an earlier referendum.

Now, it is backing the few disgruntled and short-sighted restaurateurs on Main Street, forcing the immensely popular Barbecue Challenge to move to Dillon at peak tourist season next August.

Exactly what vision does this slim majority of the council have for the future of our town? Whatever it is, I hope Frisco voters will examine it closely and remember these shenanigans when – or if – these offending council members run for re-election.
