‘Nic’ Weber dies at 30

Services will be held this week in Wisconsin for a former Summit County resident who died April 1 at the age of 30.Dr. Nicolas John “Nic” Weber was a dentist in Greg Jungman’s Family Dental Offices in Dillon and Kremmling from August 2001 to May 2004 and lived in Frisco during that time.”He was a really nice guy … just really good with his patients,” said Gay Gangel at the Family Dentist Center.Weber was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed skiing, hiking, fishing, snowshoeing and cross-country skiing.He attended Our Lady of Peace Church in Dillon.Weber is survived by his parents, Dr. Fredric and Barbara Weber; his brother, Dr. Matt Weber; his sisters, Helen Rehberger, Sarah Weber and Ann Weber; his grandparents Amalia; and the late Mathias Weber.He is also survived by nieces Brittany, Ashley, Margaret, Molly and Piper, and many aunts, uncles, cousins and wonderful friends.Weber graduated from St. Anthony’s Grad School, Catholic Memorial High School in 1992, St. John’s University-Minnesota in 1996 and Marquette Dental School in 2000. He was completing his residency in endodontrics, or root canals, at the University of Alabama. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to any of the aforementioned schools.Visitation will by Thursday at St. Anthony on the Lake Catholic Church in Pewaukee, Wisc., from 3 p.m. until the Mass of the Christian Burial at 6 p.m.Comments or memorials can be notated at http://www.onwisconsin.com, click on obituaries.
