No global warming in Summit

David Spikol, Breckenridge

There is no global warming in Summit County. Forget about any evidence from “An Inconvenient Truth.” The facts are clear. In Summit County, 75 percent of the vehicles on the road are SUV gas hogs and SUVs are not even included in the CAFE standards. If there was global warming the eco-citizens of Summit County would never drive SUVs. And it is not just here. The presidential candidates Hillary, Obama and others drive SUVs. John Edwards lives in a 28,000-square-foot house. The Goracle heats an outdoor pool. Governors like Spitzer from New York, Corzine from New Jersey and Ritter from Colorado all drive SUVs. They are the best, brightest most ethical among us. The conclusion is inescapeable: There is no global warming.
