No students injured in Summit Cove school bus crash

SUMMIT COVE – No children where injured Thursday afternoon when a Summit Cove Elementary School bus was rear-ended at the intersection of Cove Boulevard and Summit Drive, according to a Summit School District press release.

The incident occurred at about 4:35 p.m. while seven students were on the bus. The bus driver was not injured either. Information was not immediately available regarding the other party in the crash.

A second bus was dispatched to the scene and transported the students home. Summit Cove Elementary School principal Crystal Miller is contacting the students’ families for follow-up, according to the press release.
