Nominations due for 2008 philanthropy awards

The Summit Foundation is accepting nominations for Summit County philanthropy awards. Nominations are being accepted in recognition of outstanding philanthropic and volunteer contributions in 10 categories: outstanding philanthropist, outstanding volunteer, outstanding board member, outstanding educator, outstanding professional in a nonprofit organization, outstanding youth, outstanding citizen, outstanding nonprofit organization and outstanding business.

A new category has been added this year of outstanding youth mentor.

This is your opportunity to recognize and thank those who have demonstrated outstanding support and community involvement.

Deadline for entry is noon on Oct. 17.

Deliver nominations to The Summit Foundation, 108 N. French St., Breckenridge; or mail to P.O. Box 4000, Breckenridge, CO 80424.
