Frisco Soup Cup and wassail

This year’s Frisco Wassail Days included not just the highly competitive wassail competition, but also a Soup Cup at the Frisco Adventure Park. The Soup Cup brought out nine professional soup entries. People’s-choice voting revealed the top three winners: 1st place- Boatyard American Grill, 2nd place- The Lost Cajun Restaurant and 3rd place- Cameez. A big thank you to all of the competitors, both professional and amateur, and to the sponsors, including New Belgium Brewing, Canyon Bakehouse (gluten free products), Colorado Tents and Events and The Summit Chamber. Also, an especially warm thank you to the hosts of the Soup Cup, The Frisco Adventure Park.

Frisco’s wassail competition saw over 1,300 votes at 39 businesses. The competition was stiff and the following businesses took home top honors: 1st place- The Lost Cajun Restaurant, 2nd place- Rivers Clothing Company, 3rd place- The Next Page and Tea Bar, 4th place- Cameez Frozen Yogurt & Coffee, 5th place- Wanted and a 6th place tie- Frisco Fun & Formal and Prost. A thank you to everyone who participated.

Breckenridge Nativity

Children and adults gathered together in the little town of Breckenridge on Dec. 23 to share the account of the first Christmas, beginning with a reading from the Bible, drama and dance. For more information, please call Agape Outpost at (970) 453-1247.
