Nova Guides helps create Forest Service ATV ranger crew
The Eagle-Holy Cross Ranger District has partnered with Nova Guides to establish an off-highway vehicle (OHV) ranger program that will support greater Forest Service staff presence across the district.
Nova Guides, a local recreation provider, contacted the Polaris corporation and facilitated the donation of two all-terrain vehicles to be used by Forest Service Rangers. The rangers will focus their efforts on educating the public about safe and responsible use of OHVs on the forest while also addressing maintenance issues.

Summit Daily is embarking on a multiyear project to digitize its archives going back to 1989 and make them available to the public in partnership with the Colorado Historic Newspapers Collection. The full project is expected to cost about $165,000. All donations made in 2023 will go directly toward this project.
