NRC Broadcasting raises donations for Advocates and FIRC

Daily News staff report

NRC Broadcasting holds a food, coat and toy drive in Summit County each year to solicit donations from radio listeners throughout the day to benefit Advocates for Victims of Assault and The Family & Intercultural Resource Center.”There is always a need to support local charities and food banks,” said Johnny Brokaw, Promotions Director for KSMT The Mountain in Breckenridge. “It is great to see the community come out to this event every year, and to see them give to help those in need locally.” According to Sarah Vaine, executive director of The Advocates for Victims of Assault, this year yielded enough non-perishable food items to fill their shelter as well as their safe house. Three families currently with them have benefited tremendously. NRC Broadcasting would like to thank Summit County for helping us help those who help the needy – The Advocates for Victims of Assault and The Family and Intercultural Resource Center.NRC BroadcastingKSMT “The Mountain”KTUN “The Eagle”KSKE “Ski Country”K-CMV “Colorado’s Mountain Voice”
