Nurses offer thanks for event support

Amy WinelandSummit County Public Health Nurse-Family Partnership Program

On behalf of the Nurse-Family Partnership Program, we would like to thank those establishments that helped to make it possible for us to have a celebration for the first group of wonderful first-time mothers who graduated from our program. The barbecue was held Sept. 1 at Rainbow Park in Silverthorne. It was a gorgeous day and we had a great turn out. We give thanks to the following for helping make the event a success: The Log Cabin, Hearthstone, Fiesta Jalisco, Mi Zuppa, Wendy’s, Ruby Tuesday’s and Safeway. Thank you also to Doug and Chris Ohi who volunteered to flip burgers. The program is a two-year commitment, and it means so much that the community can help support and honor these families.
