O.J. means I won’t read the paper anymore

Gregg Hodge, Breckenridge

I have never written a letter to any publication to complain about an article. So congratulations. You are the recipient of my first complaint. Are you guys for real? Did you really feel this guy was worth front page news? I can see running about two sentences on the fourth page reporting that he is in town. That is news. But this article you chose to write was unbelievable. I read your paper every day. I have never regretted picking up your paper until today. I heard about it from a friend at the farmers market in Dillon before I had a chance to pick up (Friday’s) edition. She was equally disappointed. I am a small business owner in this county. I have considered advertising in your paper for my mortgage business. I have even come in your office and sat down for a consultation. It is highly unlikely I will ever advertise with your paper. I sit in utter amazement at the thought process that must have gone in to your decision to make this the front page news. What are you guys thinking? Are you the Enquirer? I am not sure when I will pick up your paper again. I am so disappointed.
