Obituary: Arlys Ward

September 11, 1942 — July 16, 2017

Arlys Ward moved to Summit County in 1969. She worked as a legal secretary for Jack Healey, while he served as District Attorney. She was elected on November 7, 1978 as Clerk and Recorder. After serving two terms, she became a RealEstate agent, working for Remax in Frisco and Keystone Real Estate. She moved to Denver to become Director of the Election Commission, for The City and County of Denver. After leaving The Election Commission she became a Farmer’s Insurance Agent, until her retirement. She is survived by daughters, Kris and Deidra and four granddaughters Avery, Brenna, Kayleigh and Clare. A memorial to celebrate Arlys will be held on 7/28/17, at Crown Hill Pavillon, Celebration of life Center, Wheat Ridge Colorado, 2:00 p.m. Please come and celebrate the life of Arlys with her family.
