Drew Adair Hartman of Lakewood, Colorado, formerly of Breckenridge, Colorado and Mt. Carroll, Illinois, born on August 11, 1957, in Savanna, Illinois passed away peacefully at Harmony Pointe Nursing Center on March 25, 2025.
Drew was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Roberta Alvord Hartman.
Drew is also survived by his brother Scott Hartman (MaryHelen Dunn) of Buena Vista, Colorado and sister Darby Hartman of Estes Park, Colorado.
Along with his parents and sister, Drew moved to Breckenridge, Colorado from Mt. Carroll, Illinois in 1967 at the age of 10. He graduated from Summit High School with the Class of 1976.
In his early years, Drew was a speed demon finding joy in racing, whether on his Honda motocross dirt bike or his downhill skis. One of his early claims to fame was participating in a motocross race indoors at the Astrodome in Houston. Those days ended at age 21 when he suffered a traumatic brain injury in a motocross racing accident. He was employed by the Town of Breckenridge as an equipment operator at the time of his accident. He lived in the Denver area in the care of others since then.
His passion for life and simple pleasures never ceased, maintaining his sense of humor until the end.
No funeral service is planned. The Monarch Society provided cremation services.
