Beloved husband, father, bridge master, Bills fan, and ambassador:
Edward L. Ozark passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 6, surrounded by his loving family — likely dreaming of a long-awaited Buffalo Bills Super Bowl victory.
Born in Buffalo, New York, Ed carried his hometown pride and Jesuit values with him throughout his life. After beginning his career in New York City, he met and married the love of his life, Donna. They raised their three children — Jeff, Lindsey, and Cassie — in Grand Haven, Michigan, where Ed worked at JSJ Corporation and helped bring competitive girls’ soccer to the region, co-founding the Tri-City Strikers club.
In retirement, Ed and Donna settled in Silverthorne, Colorado, where he embraced mountain life, earned Life Master status at the bridge table, and gave back through Medicare consulting at the local senior center. A world traveler, storyteller, and lifelong Bills fan, Ed brought joy, laughter, and insight to every room he entered.
He is survived by his wife, Donna; children Jeff (Cheryl), Lindsey (Jack), and Cassie (James); grandson Hayden; and a wide circle of family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, please play a hand of bridge, root for the Bills, or consider a donation to the Colorado School of Mines Ryan Sayers Memorial Scholarship or Lakewood Catholic Academy.
Go Bills!
