Stephen Smith – age 70 of Flagler Beach FL and Dillon CO passed away Sunday, November 10, 2024 from a heart attack while on vacation in Cabo San Lucas.
Born on March 23, 1954, in Lancaster Pennsylvania, Stephen made Summit County his home in 1979 before moving to Florida in 2005. An avid outdoor enthusiast, he enjoyed the Summit way of life to the fullest. Stephen’s passion for skiing, biking, and golfing also kept him involved in the community.
He worked with youth as a taekwondo instructor, supported charities as an owner of High Country Cleaning, gave back through Rotary Club and by volunteering. His easy going personality earned him many friends throughout the years.
He is survived by his wife, Valerie and brothers Andy and Bob.
A memorial service will be held on December 14th, 2024 at Beaver Run Conference Center, at Imperial Room from 3-6pm.
