Obituary: Jenavieve (Adam "A.J.") Solsky

Jenavieve (Adam “A.J.”) Solsky, 31, of Dillon passed away Jan. 19. She was born May 15, 1981, in Fort Collins to Archie and Cathleen Solsky.

Jenavieve graduated from Fort Collins High School in 2000. She attended the University of Colorado in Boulder, and later attended Colorado Mountain College in Vail. She was employed in retail sales at Banana Republic.

She enjoyed snowboarding, golf and downhill mountain biking. She loved the Colorado outdoors and spent time camping, hiking and snowmobiling. She was a sponsored rider for several snowboard companies. She would often ride her unicycle around Dillon and loved to make people smile. Jenavieve loved living in Summit County and being in the mountains.

She is survived by her parents Cathleen and Archie Solsky and her sister Caitlin.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Jennifer Mary Solsky.

Jenavieve’s family would like to express their appreciation for the kindness and acceptance she was shown by her friends and co-workers in Dillon. The family would also like to thank Dr. Sloan Burton and Dr. Antonio Barbera for the love and care they showed Jenavieve. The world has lost a gentle, kind and sensitive soul.
