The eighth running of the Frisco Triathlon will be held on Friday, July 8. The event has sold out, and town staff are expecting increased crowds and activity at the Frisco Bay Marina and peninsula, as well as on trails in the area.

The race will begin at the Frisco Bay Marina at 8:30 a.m. as racers start the stand-up paddleboard portion. Racers will then mountain bike from the Pine Grove Campground and eventually run the trails around the Frisco peninsula.

Awards will be given to the top three finishers in three categories: overall male, female and team finishers, as well as the first male and female finishers in each age category. Complete competitor information may be found at FriscoTriathlon.com.
