One-time resident touched many hearts

LEADVILLE – Leadville resident Barbara Jackson passed away Tuesday, May 6, in Leadville after a long battle with cancer.

Jackson was once a resident of Summit County.

She is survived by her parents, Lester Jackson and Margaret Beasley of Nashville; children Tanya Ferguson of Denver, April Cole of Florida, Dana Jowers of North Carolina and Danielle Jowers of Denver; and six grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters, Rita and Ruby; and brothers, Jr. and Troy, also of Nashville.



She touched the hearts of many and will be missed by all.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
