Open space kickoff

Summit County Government’s Open Space and Trails Department will kick off the 2008 Adopt-A-Trail/Open Space Program with a tree-planting project on Saturday at Muggins Gulch Open Space.

Numerous other volunteer opportunities are available throughout the County this summer with Summit County Open Space and Trails on trails projects throughout the County. These projects consist of a variety of activities for all ages, abilities and fitness levels. Several recpath sections, natural surface trails and open space areas are up for adoption for the summer as well.
