Open space tour to Fishhook near Summit Cove on Saturday

Join Continental Divide Land Trust for an open space tour on snowshoes or cross country skis to Fishhook Open Space on Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon with tour leader Emily Edwards. We hope to see birds of prey and other wildlife, and learn about the interesting history of this property, which is owned by Summit County Open Space & Trails.Bring your own equipment (cross country skis or snowshoes), water, and appropriate clothing. Dogs on leash welcome. This is a relatively easy outing. CDLT events to Connect People to the Land are free for current CDLT supporters or a $5/person donation. Parking at Fishhook is extremely limited in the winter, so we will meet at the fisherman’s parking area at the Snake River Inlet on Dillon Reservoir off Swan Mountain Road near Summit Cove and carpool the half-mile from there.
