Open space & trails group thanks Raven golf course

Jim Shaw, ZeoponiX, Inc.

The Summit County Open Space and Trails group continues to be the leader in mine land reclamation in Summit County. On June 18-19, with the help of the Blue RIver Watershed Group, they transplanted willows and revegetated steep banks where they had earlier moved a stream at the old Jesse Mill Site. Once again they were using some new technology in their efforts. Everyone in the county should be proud of their work. A special thanks to the Raven golf course for providing some equipment for the job.
