Organizational meeting held for Park County Montessori school


All area parents are invited to attend an informational meeting about the possibility of starting a Montessori elementary school program in Park County.”Our goal is to try to get information to parents,” organizer Ruthann Sherrier said. “And get more parents excited about an alternative to public education.”According the Sherrier, Montessori children develop skills of concentration, motivation and self-discipline, with each child progressing at his own pace and rhythm according to his individual capabilities.The meeting will be held May 15, from 6:30-8 p.m. at the Bristlecone Children’s School, 124 N.
