‘Outside in Aspen’ this weekend

ASPEN – Athletes looking to check out the latest info and gear can do so this weekend during the “Outside in Aspen” event co-hosed by the Aspen chamber and Outside Magazine.

Activities include trail running/hiking clinics by acclaimed ultra-marathoner Ricky Gates and opportunities to interact with professional adventure athletes and Outside personalities, including Olympic Gold Medalist Tyler Hamilton, Everest climber and photographer Jake Norton, big mountain skier Chris Davenport, Everest mountaineer Melissa Arnot, extreme kayaker Jesse Coombs, a symposium with experts addressing various adventure topics and the Outside Buyer’s Guide Gear Experience.

A $100 one-day pass includes half-day activities including kayaking, rafting, stand-up paddle boarding, road biking, mountain biking, fly fishing or rock climbing.
