Pam Demma: Please stop the speeding

Anyone ticketed for speeding should be required to spend a day in a trauma center and see what I saw as a former critical care RN! People tend to whine after a citation, but it is just as much for their own good as it is for all. The posted speed limit is the maximum, not the minimum! Give kids, wildlife and everyone else a chance for a long life. The traumatic injuries I have seen would make you want to drive like a turtle. Just imagine an eye evulsion – suffered during a high-speed impact! I don’t mince words when speeders complain.
