Pam Oshlo: Looking forward to Olga Kern concert in Breckenridge

Pam Oshlo
Breckenridge

As a permanent resident of Summit County for the past eight years, I would like to take this opportunity to thank the Breckenridge Music Festival for its efforts in bringing Ms. Olga Kern to perform at the CMC in Breckenridge this coming March 18. Ms. Kern is a world-class concert pianist. She is the Gold Medal winner of the 2001 Van Cliburn International Piano Competition. Her performance of the Rachmaninoff Piano Concerto No. 3 made her the first woman to achieve this distinction in over 30 years.

Rick and I have attended her performances in Denver for the past two years and wouldn’t miss another one! Her homepage is http://www.olgakern.com if you are interested in further information on why we are so lucky to have her performing in Summit County. More information on the March 18 recital is available on the BMF’s website at http://www.breckenridgemusicfestival.com. Tickets are already available through the BMF office at (970) 453-9142. Seating is limited, so I am sure that they will sell out quickly.

Thanks again to the BMF for bringing Ms. Olga Kern into our community.
