Parents advocate for approval of freestyle training center at Keystone

Theresa and Mike Campbell, Team Summit parents, Dillon

We would like to voice our support for the Landon Sawyer Freestyle Center proposed for Keystone.

As parents of a 14-year-old competitive freestyle skier, we can attest to the positive influence and environment that freestyle skiing has provided our family.

When attending Rocky Mountain Freestyle events, you can watch more than 100 athletes from the division compete against one another, while establishing friendships with skiers from other teams – a component most often lost in a competitive sport.

The Keystone freestyle center would provide a safe, recreational site to train, play and continue fostering friendships with team members across the Rocky Mountain area and around the country. Individual and community use would be encouraged.

The center will provide a positive addition to our community.

Our freestyle family encourages you to help the Landon Sawyer Freestyle Center become a reality.
