Paul Krahulec: Poor choice of words, sport editor

I dont believe that the word slaughter has any place in amateur sports. Alameda held off the Summit team in the second half, as neither team scored any points.A better choice of words might have been Summit Tigers now 8 & 0, still undefeated putting a more positive spin on their accomplishment.I suggest that the Summit Daily sports ediitor review the origins of the word sport as it relates to sportsmanship to gain a better understanding of your place in the venue:-The fact or practice of participating in sports or a sport.-Conduct and attitude considered as befitting participants in sports, especially fair play, courtesy, striving spirit, and grace in losing.
